We'll use those details to create two personalised artwork choices. If neither feels quite right, you can choose to create two more artworks for £1.99 — and we'll credit the £1.99 towards your jigsaw if you go on to order. Choose your favourite artwork, select either 500 or 1,000 pieces, and we'll turn it into your personalised jigsaw.

Their likeness comes first. We use your uploaded photos as the visual reference for their face, colouring, markings and distinctive features, while creating the personalised world around them. A clear photo where we can see their face and distinctive features gives us the best starting point.

For the best likeness, we recommend uploading two clear photos of the pet you'd like us to feature: one close-up showing their face clearly, and one showing their whole body. This helps us capture not just their face, but their colouring, markings, shape and other distinctive features.

If you only have one good photo, that's absolutely fine — choose the clearest, well-lit image you have where the pet is easy to see.

Because this isn't simply a photograph printed onto a puzzle. The details you share help us create an artwork that feels personal to them — from where they're happiest and what they love doing to favourite toys, familiar objects and little things you might want hidden in the scene.

Your first two personalised artworks are included. You can view both at full size and choose whichever you love most.

If you'd like more choice, you can create two additional options for £1.99. Before they're created, you can optionally tell us one thing you'd like adjusted — we'll keep everything you've already told us about your pet and use your change for the new pair. If you then order a jigsaw, the £1.99 is credited towards your puzzle.

If you pay £1.99 to create two additional artwork options and then go on to order a jigsaw, we'll credit the full £1.99 towards your jigsaw purchase.

Both use exactly the same personalised artwork you choose. The difference is simply the number of pieces, finished size and level of challenge.

Your finished puzzle comes in its own presentation box featuring your chosen personalised artwork together with Jigsaw Tails branding. Inside, you'll also find an A4 reference print of your artwork to use while you piece your puzzle together.

Absolutely. You can create a Jigsaw Tail for someone else's pet using photos you have permission to use. Add everything you know about their personality, favourite things and happy places, then choose the artwork you think they'll love. You can also add a handwritten gift card for £2.99, and no prices or paperwork are included in the parcel.

Yes. Once completed, your Jigsaw Tail can be preserved and framed so you can enjoy the artwork long after the final piece goes in. A puzzle conserver, suitable puzzle glue or another appropriate mounting method can help secure the completed pieces — follow the instructions for whichever product or method you use. You can then mount or frame the finished puzzle.

Check your chosen frame or mount dimensions carefully: the 500-piece puzzle is approximately 50 × 38 cm and the 1,000-piece puzzle is approximately 66 × 50 cm. A custom frame or mount may be required, and neither size is guaranteed to fit a standard off-the-shelf frame.

Absolutely. You can use a favourite photo and tell us about the places, things and little habits that made them so special to you. We'll use those details in exactly the same way to create a personalised artwork that celebrates them as you remember them.

We use image-generation technology together with the photos and details you provide to create your personalised artwork. The process is specifically designed around your pet's likeness, personality and chosen scene, with the finished image composed to work beautifully as a jigsaw.

The artwork previews on the website are provided so you can choose the design for your personalised jigsaw. The product currently being sold is the physical Jigsaw Tails puzzle rather than a standalone digital artwork download.

If your jigsaw arrives damaged, faulty or isn't what you ordered, please contact us as soon as possible with your order details and, where helpful, a photo showing the problem. We'll work with you to put it right in line with your consumer rights.
